Diploma in Christian-Muslim Relations
With our host partners at Domuni Universitas, the NCCMR has launched the online Diploma in Christian-Muslim Relations. The program will provide the student with the foundational knowledge of each faith and enable them to explore the dynamics and complex relations governing Christian-Muslim relations. It is taught in the English language over a period of 12 months. The diploma requires no previous training, and is highly recommended for students and professionals who look to acquire reliable knowledge in domain of Christian-Muslim relations.
The diploma is open for students from all backgrounds and disciplines who wish to learn about Christian-Muslim relations, it consists of eight courses, divided into two certificates. With the successful completion of the first four courses, the student is awarded a certificate in the Principles of Christian-Muslim Relations. A diploma is awarded upon the successful completion of all eight courses.
The teaching body is composed of distinguished scholars, university professors, and highly-experienced practitioners in the domains of interfaith engagement and Christian-Muslim Relations.
The Diploma (60 ECTS credits):
Two Certificates Program leading to a Diploma
The first certificate on “Core Concepts” (30 ECTS credits):
- Introduction to Christianity
- Introduction to Islam
- History of Christian-Muslim Relations I
- Scriptural Reasoning
After completing the first certificate, the student will follow a second certificate program on “Analytical and Contextual Insights” (30 ECTS credits):
- History of Christian-Muslim Relations II
- Analytic Philosophy
- Philosophy of Religion
- CMR Life Experiences in Africa, Asia, and the MENA Region
