NCCMR 2024 Newsletter

Message for 2025
As we approach the new year, the Network extends warm wishes of joy, health, and success to all. In a world facing challenges, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering unity and harmony across Africa, Asia, and the MENA region. The past year’s achievements have been remarkable thanks to the dedication of our members, and 2025 promises even greater initiatives.

New Network Logo
The Network’s new logo was created through a collaborative process involving multiple stakeholders and four professional designers. Guided by clear brand criteria, the chosen design reflects unity, professionalism, and the Network’s identity across all platforms.

Amman Symposium 2025
We are honored that HRH Prince Hassan bin Talal will sponsor the 2025 symposium in Amman, taking place June 16–18, 2025. This high-profile event will attract key decision-makers, experts, and partners from across the region, significantly boosting visibility and collaboration.

Contextual Dictionary of Christian-Muslim Relations
This groundbreaking publication will feature definitions and insights written by theologians, philosophers, and practitioners from the Majority World—regions where Christians and Muslims live side-by-side. By centering these perspectives, the dictionary will challenge Western-dominated narratives and provide a richer, culturally grounded understanding of interfaith relations.

Professional Development Webinars
Six webinars have been delivered, equipping members with strategies for securing grants, diversifying funding, and crafting compelling proposals. Topics included grant cycles, regional funding opportunities, concept note development, and effective fundraising platforms. Each session was tailored to members’ real challenges through a pre-event questionnaire.

Center’s Profile Videos
A new video series is underway to promote each member center’s mission, activities, and publications. Available in Arabic, English, and French, these videos will be showcased on the Network’s website alongside dedicated profile pages linking directly to each center’s own website.

Diploma Program in Christian-Muslim Relations
In partnership with Domuni Universitas, a new diploma program will launch in June 2025. Delivered in English, it will serve students from Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, providing practical skills in interfaith communication. An MoU was signed on October 7, 2024, and final administrative arrangements are underway.
